Arnab Ray, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Cybersecurity for Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management products, overseeing the security of product development and manufacturing environments. Previously, Arnab held the position of Director, Product Security at Abbott, leading cybersecurity efforts for medical devices in both pre-market and post-market phases. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager at Baxter International Inc., leading product security for medical delivery and renal lines, and as a Senior Research Scientist at Fraunhofer USA CESE, where Arnab managed federal and industrial research projects. Arnab also contributed to academia as an Associate Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland, developing and teaching software design courses. With a PhD in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University, Arnab has a strong foundation in the field.
