Austin Porter

Austin Porter is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in DevOps and system engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer in DevOps at Abbott since September 2025, Porter previously held the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at Mark43 from August 2021 to September 2025. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Cerner Corporation included roles as Lead System Engineer, Senior System Engineer, and System Engineer from August 2016 to August 2021. Porter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, completing the degree in 2016, and also attended Aarhus University for further education in 2014.
