Bill Simpson

Bill Simpson is a seasoned professional in the biomedical engineering field, having retired from Abbott Diagnostics. They commenced their career at IVAC as a Technical Support Engineer from 1983 to 1986, where they wrote service documentation and trained biomedical engineers. Simpson subsequently joined Abbott Diagnostics, serving in various roles from 1987 to 2016, including Sr. Field Service Engineer and Sr. Worldwide Global Service Professional for Hematology, where the focus was on integrating AbbottLink to Hematology service. They currently hold the position of Sr. Global Service Professional for New Product Development at Abbott Diagnostics, a role they began in 2015. Simpson earned an Electrical Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in 1982.
