Carrie Allen

Carrie Allen, MLIS, is an accomplished knowledge management professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of the Engineering Knowledge Network at Abbott since May 2020, Carrie leads the global engineering knowledge management function and develops strategic plans for the organization. Previously, as Knowledge & Asset Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Carrie managed the design and launch of a new knowledge management platform. Carrie's background includes roles at Bain & Company, Huron Consulting Group, Korn Ferry, and PDI Ninth House, where responsibilities ranged from knowledge management and sales enablement to project coordination and operational support. Carrie holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French from North Central College.
