Chen-Hao Lin

Chen-Hao (Paul) Lin is a Senior Optical Engineer at Abbott, specializing in optical system design and imaging processing since February 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2017 to February 2024, where responsibilities involved lecturing and leading experiments in introductory physics labs. During this time, Chen-Hao also held the position of President for the Taiwanese Graduate Student Association, organizing successful cultural and networking events. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine, significant achievements included the design of an innovative fiber-based optical imaging system for cerebral blood flow and substantial cost reduction in optical fiber bundles. Chen-Hao's career also includes internships at Turing Medical and consulting work at The BALSA Group, coupled with an extensive academic background in Physics and Electrophysics from reputable institutions.
