Christopher Palmer

Christopher Palmer, PhD, is a Group Manager in Global Therapy Development at Abbott, where they lead teams to create innovative therapies and achieve notable revenue growth. They previously held roles in various capacities at Abbott, with significant contributions to neuromodulation and brain therapies, including the FDA Breakthrough Device designation for a deep brain stimulation device. Early in their career, Christopher gained research experience through internships and educational roles at institutions such as Cephalon, Ithaca College, and the University of Pennsylvania, where they focused on neuroscience and pharmacological research. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Biology and Anthropology from Ithaca College.
