Clara Park

Clara Park is a Senior R&D Clinical Engineer at Abbott, where they conduct root cause analysis and lead model development strategies. They have a strong background in mechanical and biomedical engineering, with extensive experience in academic research and the medical device industry. Clara's doctoral work focused on developing a high-fidelity beating heart model for preclinical testing. They have previously held research positions at the MIT Koch Institute and the MIT Media Lab, and have received accolades as a finalist in the iGEM competition. Clara earned a BS in Biological Engineering, an SM in Mechanical Engineering, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
