Dan Gilbert

Dan Gilbert is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Director of Design Quality at Abbott since June 2015, Gilbert has held various leadership positions including Sr. Manager and Manager of Mechanical Engineering, as well as Group Lead for Mechanical Engineering - IPGs, following Abbott's acquisition of St. Jude Medical in January 2017. Prior to joining Abbott, Gilbert worked at St. Jude Medical from March 2009 to June 2015 as a Mechanical Engineer and Sr. Mechanical Engineer. Gilbert holds a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
