Dan Gutfinger

Dan Gutfinger, MD, PhD, is the Medical Director at Abbott Structural Heart, where they focus on structural heart disease and cardiac surgery. With a robust background in cardiothoracic surgery, Gutfinger previously served as a Medical Director and Clinical Research Scientist at St. Jude Medical, where they led various clinical studies and innovative medical device developments. They completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship and have extensive experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon across multiple hospitals in Southern California. Gutfinger holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Medicine from UC Irvine.
