Daniel Esping

Daniel Esping is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Abbott, where they manage a team focused on regulatory submissions for ablation catheters and related capital equipment. Previously, they held the position of Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Abbott, overseeing the successful regulatory approval of a PMA for an electrophysiology ablation device. Daniel began their career as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in a rotational program at St. Jude Medical, and they have also contributed to significant research projects as a UROP Student Researcher at the University of Minnesota. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2016.
