Denise King

Denise King is a Principal Project Manager of Clinical Evaluation at Abbott, where they leverage extensive scientific expertise in pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials. They have previously held leadership roles, including Director of Health Benefits Applications at DuPont Protein Technologies and Medical Writing Manager at Medtronic, where their team received the 2020 Global Clinical Excellence Award. Denise's background includes significant experience in medical writing, project management, and budget oversight, coupled with strong interpersonal skills that foster productive relationships with diverse stakeholders. They have also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University and managed operations at the Nutrition Coordinating Center at the University of Minnesota. Currently, Denise is pursuing MS and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
