Dimitar Manolov, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global marketing and portfolio management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Global Marketing at Abbott since 2014, Dimitar has held various leadership roles including Global Head of Portfolio Expansion and interim Global Head of Digital Healthcare. Previous positions include Category Manager for Generics at Walgreens Boots Alliance and Director of Portfolio Management at Actavis (now Teva), where responsibilities included portfolio analysis and long-term strategy development. Dimitar's career began at GlaxoSmithKline as a Brand Manager, managing several notable brands in the East Balkans. Dimitar holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Marketing from the Medical University of Sofia and has further education from prestigious institutions such as Kellogg School of Management and the University of National and World Economy.
