Douglas Lautner

Douglas Lautner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Senior Director and Research Fellow at Abbott since April 2018, Lautner leads initiatives in holistic human health innovation. Previous roles include Senior Director of Software Research at Lenovo, where management of a research and technology lab spanned Chicago and Raleigh, and Senior Software Development Manager at Google, overseeing critical wireless and sensor software development. Lautner's career began at Motorola Mobile Devices, where contributions included executing security architecture for cellular devices. Complementing professional achievements, Lautner holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas.
