Dr. Bahar Baser

Dr. Bahar Baser is a Senior Technical Support Scientist at Abbott, where they continue to apply their expertise in biotechnology. They previously served as a PostDoc at Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, specializing in both Epidemiology and Recombinant Protein Expression, and completed their PhD focused on improving the expression of recombinant mammalian proteins. Dr. Baser also held positions at the University of Oxford, where they conducted their Master Thesis on GABAB receptor subunits, and at Lonza as a Placement Student. Their educational background includes a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Oxford Brookes University and foundational studies in Chemistry at Technische Universität München.
