Dr. Robert Haustein is currently the Head of Strategic Value Demonstration and Communication for the Freestyle Libre product group at Abbott, where they develop new reimbursement strategies. Previously, they served as Senior Manager of Governmental Affairs at Novo Nordisk, leading the Berlin Office and the German Governmental Affairs Team from 2019 to 2022. Dr. Haustein also held the position of Head of Governmental Affairs at the German Association of the Diagnostics Industry (VDGH) from 2015 to 2019, where they focused on Governmental Affairs and Health Economics. Their academic achievements include earning a Dr. rer. pol. in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, graduating Magna Cum Laude, along with a Diplom in BWL from Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and a degree in Asia Pacific Management from Ritsumaiken Asia Pacific University.
