Ellen Bloom

Ellen Bloom, PhD, is currently a Senior Clinical Scientist at Abbott, where they leverage their expertise in biomedical engineering. Prior to this role, they served as a Study Director at NAMSA, managing preclinical studies and ensuring compliance with GLP regulations. Ellen’s diverse experience includes positions as a Research Scientist at Solenis and Flexion Therapeutics, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. They earned their PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware, where they developed innovative surgical models and mentored fellow researchers.
