Eric Volckaert is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in technical support and research and development. Volckaert began a career at Therma-Wave Inc. as a Sr. Technical Support Engineer from May 1997 to June 2003, followed by a role as R&D Systems Engineer at BD Biosciences from March 2003 to October 2011. Volckaert then served as Sr. Automation Engineer at Complete Genomics Inc. for a brief period in 2012, before joining Abbott Medical Optics as R&D Program Engineer in July 2012, where work continues. Volckaert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, obtained between 1988 and 1991.
