Evans Mathebula -

Evans Mathebula is a healthcare scientist and strategist with over 12 years of research experience. Currently serving as an Extraordinary Lecturer in Health Systems and Public Health at the University of Pretoria, they focus on point-of-care diagnostics and implementation research in low and middle-income countries. Previously, Evans held various positions including Regional Manager for Medical and Scientific Affairs at Abbott, where they managed multiple studies and developed medical strategies. They have a diverse educational background, holding a PhD in Human Genetics, an Executive MBA, and several certificates in global health.
