Fernando Williams

Fernando Williams is an experienced procurement and supplier management professional with a strong background in various industries. Currently serving as Supplier Relationship Mexico at Abbott since August 2019, Fernando is responsible for the procurement strategy for the Mexico Plant. Previously, as Indirect Procurement Regional Manager at Novartis from April 2016 to March 2019, Fernando established the Source to Contract Service Line in Mexico and managed the hiring of over 25 associates. Prior experience includes roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP, and Nortel Networks, where Fernando led teams, managed procurement operations, and negotiated contracts across multiple categories. Fernando holds a Bachelor's degree in Economía from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Master's degree in Administración y gestión de empresas from Colegio de Estudios de Posgrado de la Ciudad de México.
