Franziska Lechner

Franziska Lechner is a biomedical scientist with a PhD, specializing in metabolism and neuroendocrinology. They have a robust research background, focusing on the impact of astrocytes and oxytocin neurons on glucose regulation, as well as central control of metabolism in diabetes and obesity. Currently, Franziska serves as a Medical Affairs Manager at Abbott and has contributed to various projects in preclinical diabetes research and international collaboration throughout their academic and professional career. With a foundation in Nutrition Sciences and Biomedicine from Technische Universität München, they are passionate about advancing health innovation through interdisciplinary teamwork and evidence-based strategies.
