Gang Wu

Gang Wu is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in product development and software engineering, currently serving as Sr. Director of Product Development at Abbott since May 2019. Prior roles include Director of Software and System Engineering at Medtronic, where leadership of a team of over 30 engineers focused on developing ventricular assist devices for heart failure patients. Gang Wu also served as Director of Engineering at Defibtech, LLC, overseeing the development of automated external defibrillators and introducing Agile methodologies to enhance product development efficiency. Additionally, positions at Boston Scientific and Cameron Health involved managing firmware development for innovative medical devices, including the world's first completely subcutaneous implantable defibrillator. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southeast University.
