Gemma Sinclair

Gemma Sinclair has extensive experience in forensic toxicology, starting with a position as a Senior Forensic Analyst at Forensic Science Service from May 2005 to December 2011, focusing on the analysis of biological and non-biological samples for drugs, poisons, and alcohol, along with significant expertise in liquid-liquid extraction. Following this, Gemma worked as a Senior Examiner at LGC Forensics from January 2012 to September 2013, where responsibilities included line management, team training, and workload scheduling while utilizing techniques such as HPLC and LC-MS/MS. Additional roles have included consulting positions at Abbott and Alere Toxicology Plc, where Gemma served as Technical Supervisor and Senior Analyst, as well as an industrial placement at GlaxoSmithKline. Gemma holds a BSc (Hons 2:1) in Biochemistry with a focus on industry from the University of Bristol, earned between 1999 and 2003.
