Gerald Heatley

Gerald Heatley is the Director of Statistics at Abbott, where they have worked since 2016, focusing on cardiac arrhythmia, heart failure, and neuromodulation. Previously, they held the position of Director of Biostatistics and Data Management at Thoratec Corporation from 1997 to 2016 and served as a Research Associate in Statistics at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center from 1978 to 1997. Gerald also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Antioch University New England from 1988 to 1992. Early in their career, they served as a Specialist IV in Clinical Microbiology Research for the U.S. Army and worked as a Research Assistant at St. Margarets Hospital. Gerald is currently pursuing an MS at Antioch College and a BS at Indiana University Bloomington.
