Gilbert Tang

Gilbert Tang, MD, MSc, MBA, is a highly experienced cardiac surgeon with over 20 years in healthcare delivery. Currently, they serve as a Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and as the Academic Director of the Structural Heart Program. Previously, they were a physician consultant at NeoChord and a member of the Board of Advisors at LifeLike BioTissue Inc. Gilbert has contributed significantly to the field through leadership roles, instruction, and clinical innovation across various institutions, including being the Director of the Valve Disease Center at Westchester Medical Center and an editor at JACC Case Reports. They hold degrees from Harvard and the University of Toronto.
