Giulio Amore has extensive experience in operations and supply chain management within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. At Abbott, from September 2018 to April 2022, Giulio served as Divisional Vice President Operations, leading the Global Supplier Relationship Office and managing the Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site in Olst, Netherlands. Responsibilities included overseeing all external relationships regarding APIs, excipients, chemicals, packaging materials, and third-party manufacturers. Prior to Abbott, Giulio worked at Solvay from October 2002 to December 2010 as Head of Supply Chain Process & System Management, focusing on the optimization of supply chain strategies and processes. In addition to this role, Giulio also held the position of Corporate Lead Buyer, where procurement processes and standard framework agreements were established. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager at Bormioli Rocco from October 1998 to September 2002.
