Hai H.

Hai H. is an accomplished Chief Architect with extensive experience in software development for medical devices. Currently at Abbott since April 2019, Hai oversees the architecture and design of the electrophysiology cardiac mapping system, specializing in real-time algorithms for catheter navigation and tracking. Prior to this role, Hai served as a Distinguished Engineer at Medtronic from July 2015 to March 2019, where responsibilities included developing a wearable controller for an implantable heart pump. Before Medtronic, Hai worked at Boston Scientific as a Fellow Software Engineer and held multiple positions at Guidant Corporation/Cardiac Rhythm Management, contributing significantly as a Lead Software Architect. Hai holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
