Hao Lei

Hao Lei, Ph.D., is currently a Principal R&D Scientist at Abbott, where they focus on lab automation, protein purification, enzyme kinetics, and assay development. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Scientist at Abbott and held roles at Baxter International Inc. as a Research Associate III, contributing to NMR method development and regulatory compliance. Hao completed a Ph.D. in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked as a Research Assistant during this time, studying MERS-CoV protease and developing antibacterial agents. They also have experience as a Field Application Specialist II at Hamilton Company and an intern at KELUN Pharmaceutical Corporation.
