Ian Longley

Ian Longley is a seasoned Training Consultant with extensive experience in customer training and technical instruction. Currently, Ian serves as a Training Consultant independently since January 2022 and has been a Customer Training Specialist at Abbott Informatics since July 2013, where responsibilities include defining, designing, and delivering customized training solutions for both external and internal learners. Previous roles include Technical and Product Trainer at Starlims Corporation and Senior Technical Instructor at Convergys, where Ian demonstrated expertise in developing training programs and managing onsite training globally. Ian’s career began in IT support and project management, leading to significant roles in pre-sales technical support and training within telecommunications. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in IT and Business from Salford University.
