Igor Solev

Igor Solev is an experienced professional in market access, policy, and external payer affairs, currently serving as the Global Head of Market Access, Policy & External Payer Affairs at Abbott since September 2022. Prior to this, Igor held multiple leadership roles at Takeda, including Head of Global Pricing and Head of Pricing and Market Access for Growth and Emerging Markets from March 2019 to September 2022. Additional experience includes senior positions at Shire, Baxalta, and Baxter International Inc., focusing on market access and public affairs across various regions, particularly Russia and CIS. Igor's academic background includes a PhD in Neuropharmacology and nanotechnology from Zakusov Institute of Pharmacology RAMS, along with a Master’s degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from First Moscow Medical University named Sechenov. Igor has also enhanced professional skills through executive education at Harvard Business School in 2015.
