Jaco van der Riet

Jaco van der Riet is currently the Commercial Director at Abbott, where they focus on commercial strategy development and program management for cardiometabolic diagnostics. With prior roles as a Project Manager across various organizations, including Thermo Fisher Scientific and Alere Inc., Jaco has built a solid foundation in business development and execution. They hold certifications from the Project Management Institute and are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at Stellenbosch University, expected to conclude in 2025. Jaco also completed an MBA Essentials certificate from the London School of Economics in 2021.
