Jacob Richards

Jacob Richards, PhD, is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs at Abbott, where they lead global regulatory strategies for new products. With over 13 years of experience, they previously served as a lead scientific reviewer at the FDA, where they managed multi-functional teams and reviewed more than 70 medical device submissions. Jacob earned a PhD in Medical Sciences, focusing on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, from the University of Florida and has published multiple scientific papers throughout their career. Prior roles included academic tutoring and project management in regulatory affairs for Abbott's SARS-CoV-2 IgG EUA Assay.
