Javier Prieto

Javier Prieto is a Principal Technologist at Abbott Diabetes Care, where they have specialized in ISO 13485:2003 regulations, material purchasing controls, and validation processes since 2011. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Technologist at ADC, focusing on material development and failure investigations from 2003 to 2011, and worked as a Development Chemist at Alcan Chemicals Ltd from 1996 to 2001, where they contributed to scaling processes and developing fire retardant formulations. Javier holds a Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry from the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
