Jim Houskeeper is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in medical device development and software engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Abbott since May 2025, Jim previously held key roles at Activ Surgical, Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc., Riptide Autonomous Solutions, and NinePoint Medical, contributing to innovative projects such as NinePoint's VLE esophageal imaging system. Jim's early career included positions as Director of Software Engineering at InfraReDx and CTO at BTMD Inc., alongside co-founding Next Gen Labs, an initiative aimed at inspiring youth interest in technology.
