Joanna Kim

Joanna Kim is a Senior Counsel at Abbott, leveraging over 20 years of experience in employment, tax, intellectual property, and business issues. Formerly a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Joanna also served as Chief Legal Officer and EVP of Regulatory Affairs at Trusaic. They hold a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, and are CIPP/US certified. Joanna has actively contributed to the legal community as President of the Korean American Bar Association and in various leadership roles within the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
