John Conlon

John Conlon has extensive experience in operational excellence and quality management within the manufacturing sector. Beginning a career at FLS Aerospace as a Six Sigma Project Leader and later continuing at GE as Six Sigma Site Lead, John Conlon advanced to Abbott Diagnostics Business, where roles included Quality and Testing Lab Team Leader, Finishing Operations Manager, and Business Excellence Manager. At Abbott from 2011 to 2020, John Conlon served as Senior Operations Manager, overseeing the Longford plant's manufacturing processes. Subsequent roles included Director of Global Business Excellence and Global Director of Operational Excellence & Strategy at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division, where John Conlon led initiatives to implement operational excellence strategies across multiple sites. John Conlon holds a BA and BAI in Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin.
