Jonathan Simpson

Jonathan Simpson, CPA, is currently serving as the Assistant Controller at Abbott, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked in various capacities including Business Process and Controls Manager at Abbott, and Manager in Financial Accounting Advisory Services at Ernst & Young. Jonathan gained early experience through internships at Disney and ESPN Media Networks, Siemens Energy, KPMG US, and Deloitte, enhancing their expertise in corporate tax and audit processes. They previously held a leadership role as President of the National Association of Black Accountants and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
