Jorge Amely

Jorge Amely is an accomplished RF and H/W Design EE Consultant and Senior Principal RF Hardware Design Engineer at Abbott Laboratories, where they have contributed since 1993. With a robust background in the healthcare industry, they specialize in developing low-power radio communication solutions for implantable devices and have expertise in medical radio standards, compliance testing, and RF telemetry system design. Jorge holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus in Biomedical Engineering from California State University-Northridge and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at the Mayaguez Campus.
