Kaitlyn Holman

Kaitlyn Holman, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist II in Research and Development at Abbott, where they specialize in new product diagnostic immunoassay development and verification. Previously, they served as a Scientist at Abbott and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Iowa, where they explored the immune response related to mouse hepatitis virus. Kaitlyn earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago following a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Iowa. They possess extensive skills in Verification and Validation (V&V), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Protein Chemistry, Translation, and FDA GMP.
