Karen Mortimer

Karen Mortimer, MT(ASCP)SM, has an extensive background in medical technology, specializing in microbiology and clinical trials. With experience spanning from 1985 to the present, notable roles include Clinical Trial Manager at Abbott, where responsibilities involve rapid diagnostics and infectious disease, and previous positions as Clinical Trial Manager at Alere Inc. and Selux Diagnostics, Inc. Karen has also served as Supervisor of Clinical Microbiology at Mercy Hospital and held various technologist roles at major institutions including Maine Medical Center and NorDx Laboratories.
