Karim Elmashad

Karim Elmashad possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Divisional Vice President for Asia Pacific at Abbott since July 2005. Throughout the tenure at Abbott, Karim has held various senior roles, including Senior Director of Emerging Markets Commercial Development, Sales and Strategy, and General Manager for Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Other significant positions include Senior Director of Global Marketing, Group Director for Gastroenterology, CardioMetabolic and Respiratory Global Marketing, and multiple managerial roles within the marketing division. Prior experience includes medical representation at Sanofi and RANBAXY LABORATORY LTD. Karim holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Tanta University, obtained in 2004.
