Kelly O'Connell

Kelly O'Connell, Ph.D., is currently the Global Clinical Program Director at Abbott, specializing in heart failure. O'Connell holds extensive experience in clinical development, having previously served as Associate Director and Senior Clinical Development Scientist at Philips, where they provided strategic input across various product development phases. They completed a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, focusing on myocardial energetics and metabolism, and have contributed to both academic and practical fields, including a post-doctoral fellowship at Brown University. Earlier roles included an undergraduate research fellowship at St. Lawrence University and positions in scientific training and piano instruction.
