Kent Smith

Kent Smith is a Principal Process Development Engineer at Abbott, where they have been working since 2021. Previously, from 2010 to 2014, they served as a Principal R&D Engineer at St. Jude Medical, participating in the development of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implant products and leading various project activities. Kent's extensive experience includes roles as a Senior Manufacturing Manager and Operations Manager at Abbott, as well as multiple engineering positions at Boston Scientific from 1991 to 1995. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business/Management from the University of Minnesota.
