Leah Tilstra is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in product development and quality engineering. They began their career as a Process Development Engineer at Boston Scientific from 2003 to 2006, later advancing to the role of Product Development Engineer at Abbott Spine until 2008. After a brief tenure at Zimmer Spine, Leah returned to Abbott, where they have held multiple roles, including Senior Quality Engineer from 2022 to 2024, and currently serves as a Senior Research and Development Engineer. In addition to their professional pursuits, Leah has taken time off since 2010 to care for their children. Leah earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1999 and 2004.
