Leyla Sabet

Leyla Sabet is currently the Director of Product Development for Cardiac Rhythm Management at Abbott. They have previously held roles such as Senior Manager, Senior Clinical Engineer, and Staff Clinical Engineer at Abbott from 2021 to 2025, in addition to serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at St. Jude Medical from 2015 to 2017. Leyla began their career as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCLA in 2011 and co-founded the UCLA Business of Science Center, enhancing commercialization efforts for UCLA technologies. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, following a Master’s degree from UCLA and a Bachelor’s from the University of Tehran.
