Lin Hong

Lin Hong is an accomplished professional in the field of research and development with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as a Manager of Research and Development at Abbott since November 2010, Lin has successfully built machine learning algorithms for hematological cell classification and led the technical aspects of product releases. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist at EDDA Technology, Inc., where object detection algorithms for medical imaging were developed, and a Member of Technical Staff at Siemens Corporate Research, focusing on various medical imaging modalities. Earlier in the career, Lin held leadership positions at Identix, pioneering advancements in face recognition and fingerprint matching technologies. Lin holds a PhD in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
