Liz Choi

Liz Choi is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, particularly in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. Currently serving as HR Director for Mergers and Acquisitions at Abbott since December 2015, Liz has significantly contributed to key projects, including the manufacturing scale-up of the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (BinaxNow). Previous positions at Abbott included roles such as Sr Director of Business Human Resources and HR Director across several global operations. Prior to Abbott, Liz held multiple HR director positions at Hospira (a Pfizer Company), where responsibilities encompassed strategic HR partnership for diverse regions and functions, including global scientific organizations. Liz began a career in HR at Abbott Laboratories, where foundational roles involved providing HR guidance for various departments and organizational levels. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
