Louise Barrett

Louise Barrett is currently the Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs for Biowearables at Abbott, where they focus on advancing health technology. Previously, they held various roles at Abbott, including Regulatory Technical Writer and Manager of Regulatory Affairs. Louise's experience also includes serving as Research Integration Manager at the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute and a researcher at Sandia National Laboratories. They are pursuing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry at Loughborough University and have earned multiple degrees in chemistry and regulatory affairs, including an MSc from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where they were recognized as Student of the Year.
