Matthew Teegarden, Ph.D., is a food, nutrition, and health expert with extensive experience in both industry and academia. They have held positions such as Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Abbott and have served in various leadership roles within the Institute of Food Technologists. Matthew began their career with internships at Dr Pepper Snapple Group and HJ Heinz, where they contributed to research and development projects. They earned a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from The Ohio State University, where they focused on food and health research. Currently, Matthew hosts the web series Tasting Columbus, exploring the science behind culinary dishes in Central Ohio.
