Mehdi Jafar

Mehdi Jafar has extensive experience in the medical sales and clinical support sectors, particularly in cardiac care. Most recently, Mehdi served as the Regional Sales Director for Structural Heart at Abbott from August 2021 to September 2025. Prior to that, Mehdi was a Senior Territory Manager for Heart Failure at Abbott, overseeing one of the busiest territories in the U.S. and previously held the same title at Medtronic, managing the largest U.S. territory. Mehdi's career began as a Clinical Consultant at Abiomed, where support was provided for Impella adoption at leading implanting centers through physician and staff training. Mehdi also served as an LVAD Research Coordinator at the Texas Heart Institute from August 2004 to April 2014. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston.
