Melissa Brown

Melissa Brown is currently a Supervisor of Product Engineering at Abbott Point of Care Canada Limited, where Melissa leads projects focused on maintaining product yields and improving capabilities. Previously, they were a Senior Product Engineer at Abbott Point of Care, overseeing product quality and investigating customer complaints. Melissa's earlier experiences include working as a Quality Test Engineer at Abbott and a Research and Development Engineer at Baylis Medical Company, where they contributed to the development of medical devices. Having earned both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto, Melissa has a strong background in biomedical engineering and has actively participated in various research initiatives throughout their academic career.
